I mentioned in my last post that I have started the Couch to 5K program. This program is designed to have you running a 5K in about 9 weeks. I'm very excited about this program, but one of my biggest motivators is that Michael has jumped on board. Michael has a background of running in the Navy, but hasn't done it since. (Over 20 years). Me...NEVER! I'll have to dig out one of his 'hot' navy pictures!
Anyway, today was week 2, day 2 of the program. Michael smoked the last interval! Even though Michael is faster than me, and I tell him to go on...he is motivating me. He is making exercising a priority in our life. While he was stretching I am noticing the muscles in his legs. I say, "look at those muscles...that's hot!" I actually did not know if that was just in my head or if I verbalized it. However, I must have because Cameron was smiling from ear to ear. He got a kick out of it and made sure I repeated it to dad. I'm so thankful that my man is on board and is setting a great example for his family.
Michael rocks because he is with me every step of the way in the Couch to 5K.

Love that!
So sweet! It will be great to have that extra support!
LOL at Cameron! I love to walk, but running has never been my thing. It is like torture to me, which is weird because my dad ran a marathon and my sister ran cross country in college! My mom and I just walk.
Glad he is joining in, makes it more fun, and you are more likely to stick with it, I'm going to get up and run 5K's again, soon, really I am. Lezlee
you go girl...that is awesome!!! How cute is your little boy...I love that he wanted you to repeat about the hotness!!! :)
Thanks for stopping over to my blog...
Good luck on your couch to 5k! Do you have a race picked out?
I'm stopping by to invite you over to the Arkansas Women Bloggers site. We'd love to have you link up with us. We're also always looking for guest posters if you're interested.

That's great Rhonda! It always goes so much better when you can work as a team too. I am hoping that Steve and I will be doing something similar soon!
Have a blessed weekend.

Can you send him my way too. I need some motivation.
His support will make all the difference and it's more fun to have a running partner.
That's great!
My husband and I just joined a new gym in town and we have been going everyday.
I am praying that I will stick with it!
I'm not familiar with the couch to 5K thing.
