Happy Halloween

The boys finally took their "perfect" pumpkins they found at the pumpkin patch and decided to draw a face and carve away. First, you have to make the ewwwww face while taking out the insides. Caden did not care for that part at all. He moved to a spoon pretty quick.

Ummm, Cameron eventually moved to the spoon too.

I cannot wait to try a new recipe for pumpkin seeds I found. Isn't that the cutest little pumpkin stem?

After carving pumpkins, we headed out to a Trunk or Treat at my sister's church.
The surgeon is enjoying his rare treat after a big day.

Who can resist this fireman all suited up?

Well I sure got a TREAT myself...

I was surprised and excited to run into two bloggin' buddies tonight. Pam at Cocomama and her sister Tammy at
The Williams Clan.
Loved running into you sweet girls!

I hope everyone has a safe &
Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Grandma and the boys tonight at "Trunk or Treat!"

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I'm home tonight, eating the homemade chicken noodle soup Michael made for me. I have not been feeling well the past two days. While my boys are at a "trunk or treat" and a Halloween carnival, I decided to go through old photos. Oh, how I love to take a walk down memory lane!

Here are a few of my favorite Halloween pictures from the past!

This year I had every intention of having a family theme. We were going to be piggy banks, with huge quarters on our backs! However, with red ribbon week at school, door decorating contests, and just life...that did not happen. This year, it was use what you have! Oh, and I get the mom of the year award for waiting until Halloween morning to let the boys pick out a pumpkin to carve! Surprise, there were NO pumpkins to be found! Next year, we will have our own pumpkin patch!

Hope you have you have a fun, safe Halloween!
