EXTREME MAKEOVER...ME

I am so excited about what my friend Amber has started...it's a support group to lose weight and become the healthiest we can be....If you have not been to her blog you are in for a treat. She is warm, honest, creative, and has a beautiful home to share along with her heart. Check it out here!

Are you ever tired of being sick and tired of weighting? That is where I am at! I want to be fit/healthy yesterday! I know it will take time, patience, hard work, determination, prayer, etc. I began about 1 week ago on a eating plan my chiropractor taught me. That is what I plan on doing and I will start exercising this week!! This has been an ongoing battle for me for years so I need all the support I can get.

Update:

Hey guys...I am a week into my new eating plan and look what happened...I was so excited about losing 4 lbs. in 5 days and then on weigh in day (today) guess how much I lost......1 stinkin' lb!!!! UGH!
It's not what you think...I still have been eating good and yes having green smoothies. I know I should be having my monthly cycle soon so I hope that is the cause. ( I tend to gain 3-5 lbs. right before). We will have to see...just trying to keep it real folks! I will move forward .....I AM WORTH IT!!! And so are you! Yeah for the 1 lb!

I thought it would be fun to post our before shots so here is mine.............

If your still reluctant to try a green smoothie visit the link!! Also, you cannot taste the spinach!!!
Come on and join us in this journey to health!

Your green diet picture was soo funny! I wish you well with your diet. I also have been working on mine and it is a very slow process but we can feel so much better about ourselves from it, besides fitting into our jeans just a little easier. Here's to you!

I'm so SAD I can't have the smoothie! Darn dairy!

Hey...quit weighing yourself every day. Just change your eating plan and go. Change your exercise plan and go. Our weight fluctuates based on our hormones and our wtater consumption. Drink lots of water and just make sure you eat 2 meals a day and a couple of healthy snacks. You can DO this Rhonda....I have faith in you!

Way to go girl, you are a true Green Goddess!

I for one hate this weight game! You are an incredible woman, a faithful and loving wife and an awesome Mom and I dare to say you've never been airbrushed! I don't think your family cares if your panties are a size 4 or 14? Be happy with who you are and determined to be healthy not thin!

Yay Rhonda!! So glad you're joining in! I also agree with the idea of not weighing every day. I think it's important to pick one day {um..Im thinking Wednesdays:) And I agree, weight fluctuates around THAT time. I just got off mine, and my weight adjusted quickly.

Keep it up, you can do it! We can help. {Do I sound like the Home Depot??} :)

I can't see your picture!! My computer randomly does that. Ugh.

Rhonda, 1 pound is 1 pound. It is a loss as a dear friend told me one WW weigh in date! Congrats on your loss but more congrats on your commitment to you!

Congrats on the weight loss. I know it is so hard to lose even a few pounds, so you are doing great! I might have to try out your smoothie recipe. Keep up the good work! Maybe I'll get disciplined and try to change my eating habits. I am doing Pilates, but haven't made the jump to dieting/eating healthier yet.

I am glad to hear you are trying my chicken. I hope you like it! We have tried the other chicken but are unfortunately not able to try yours. My husband is very allergic to mushrooms (and the rest of us are not fans) and I can't think of anything to substitute that would not change the entire recipe. Any ideas?

I love the photo. It totally cracked me up. I know what you mean when I started exercising I lost 4 lbs in a week and I was super excited. Then I would lose a pound gain a pound. I did stop doing the 30 day shred as all it was doing was bulking me up and not dropping the pounds. So since then I just walk 5 days a week. I have dropped a few pounds so that means I am moving in the right directions. I think that I am healthier than I have ever been but I just want to lose about 15 pounds. As this is what I have gained since I took the promotion at work. The doctor says a lot of my problem is stress. I will have to go check out this extreme makeover site, everyone is talking about it. Feel free to post about your success and stand still on the weight loss anytime as I think we are all in the same boat. Hope you have a great Thursday!

Rhonda, You're on the right track! You're thinking positively and you have a plan for both exercise and eating right. Take that one pound and run with it, girl! Just make baby steps and you'll get there. That's what I tell myself each week. And do your best to NOT weigh-in every day! Best of luck, Rhonda!!
