Cameron has been blessed with awesome teachers every year! We love Mrs. Baker. The Lord has answered my prayers! Tonight we made her one last gift. We will also be giving her the pictures to go with it!
We made a candy gram. I saw this idea at Shauna-Na-Na's. Cameron had a lot of fun with this. Writing is not his favorite thing to do...but he was excited and did fantastic!
The candy gram says: Dear ----------, Being your student was 'mounds' of fun and 'snickers'. You have helped me be a 'smartie' 'now and later'. You are always an 'extra' 'whatchamacallit'...oh yes, an 'xtreme' teacher, like the time we did a sound wave x 'spearmint'. It was awesome! My wish for you on 'pay day' you will be able to go on a shopping 'spree' extravaganza to find 'good and plenty' bargains, or a trip to the 'milky way'! I hope that summer is not too much of a 'fast break'. I hope you get to 'take 5' minutes to yourself. Put your feet up, relax, and say 'mmm & mmm'. Love, Cameron
The possibilities are endless! If you decide to make one...have fun!
Summer Break Ahead.........

What a super cute idea. This school year has just flown by. My kids have 7 days left and it will be summer for us. So excited!
I know I don;t have to tell you to enjoy it...but enjoy it.
Mine is going into High school!
Let the dram really begin!
What a little cutie he is!
Cute gift! I like that he did it himself!
What a great idea! Time flies so fast, doesn't it? I have no idea where the last 2 years went and now my oldest will be in 2nd grade and #2 will head off to Kindergarten in the fall. Time to pack in lots of summer memories and fun :-)
Thanks for following!! I love this idea...I'll have to try it with mine now...lol
I just got the stuff to make our teacher gift too! My girl still has a few more weeks left of first grade, so sad. They get big too fast!
What a great idea Rhonda! I love your plan to enjoy your kids this summer. I plan to do the same. I am saying no to most activities and just having a fun summer with no schedule. Yay!
Our last day is on Friday!!!

What a totally great idea. I beat the teacher just loved it. I remember people always saying that time flies but I don't think you realize it until you have a kid of your own.
Thanks for the great idea.
Have a great day!
I received a similar candy gram when I was a teacher and I LOVED IT!! It is the best little gift a teacher could get. In fact, I think I still have it...the words, not the candy. ;)
Oh my gosh, that is SO CUTE!!! I'm stealing that idea. I am! : )

PS Isn't it great to have 2 little guys?? I love my boys so much and I never imagined I would have boys, or 2 for that matter!
What a cutie. That is such a great gift. I'm sure his teacher will love it. I just did gift cards this year (I'm so uncreative right now!) ha ha.
A candy gram?!? Now I wish I was your son's teacher :o) LUCKY!!
Thank you for the 'follow', I am looking forward to reading more of your lovely posts. It is great to meet like-minded mommies :)
I know you'll do well in the challenge, we can do this together!!

Wow. What talent!
I felt the exact same way about my 2nd grader too! She is my oldest and I feel like she is growing up too fast!!!
I am so thankful to have the summer off with all my kids and I plan on loving on them every minute!!!
