Project 365...Week 1 & 2

Happy 2011! I decided to participate in Project 365 this year! I want to improve my photography skills as well as document our daily life and randomness. I have decided even if I cannot blog every day, I can at least blog one picture for each day of the week. (At least try)

Week 1: (Starting from January 1st)

Saturday, January 1

This is my canvas from Canvas People. They were offering a free 8 x 10 canvas in December. I decided to upgrade to the 11 x 14 size for $9.99. I'm so glad I did. I love it!

Sunday, January 2

Lots of projects starting in our home! This is the beginning of the office/laundry room make-over.

Monday, January 3

Caden lost a tooth at school. He was so excited and had to come to my pre-k room to show me.

Daisy's nightly routine. Caden loves to have her sleep at the foot of his bed.

Tuesday, January 4
Cameron started piano lessons in December. He is practicing "The Entertainer". A new (to us)piano is on our list! (I must not wait to take pictures at night!)

Wednesday, January 5

Thursday, January 6

You are seeing a sneak peek of my new Pre-K room. There is still construction going on, but it is getting closer. I have been in a Kindergarten classroom so far this school year. I cannot wait to move, get settled, and enjoy our new space.

Friday, January 7

Purge, purge, purge. Part of re-doing the office was to go through my magazines that were taking up so much cabinet space. I already had marked the pages I was interested in, so I tore those out, organized them into a binder, and now have more room! It feels great! Two of the recycle bins full of magazines...GONE.

Saturday, January 8

Michael and I had a good time shopping, while the boys were staying the night with friends. Decisions, decisions, decisions! We are deciding on new flooring for our home. Lots of projects for 2011!

So glad you are joining us!!!

I really dislike making decisions about the house....so seeing the picture of the tile gave me instant anxiety! ha!

I gave you the Versatile Blogger award today on my blog. I normally don't participate in the awards thing, but this time I did and did so with lots of thought and meaning attached.

Have a great week!

I love the 365 project. I love that there is no theme you just take photos. I love the canvas, what a great deal.
Also I was going to see have you cooked from PW's cookbook yet. We tried the pizza crust and egg in a hole and they are fabulous. We hope to have the sour cream pancakes tonight.
Hope you have a great day!

Love following your 365 project!

That primer was found at Walmart. It says that no sanding is needed so I was a little worried when my primer would chip off. Then I went back and read that it takes 7 days to fully cure which is like near impossible with four kids in a kitchen. However I just have a few spots that have chipped but nothing major. I am impressed so far. I am waiting the full week before I put on the Alabaster color so that it has time to fully cure.

My school was just built a year ago, and I can not tell you how much I love being in it!! The technology, the storage, the heat that actually works, ha! I'm sure you're going to love your new room. :-)
