~*~ Rhonda's Daybook~*~
Today is... Tuesday, July 20, 2010
Outside my window...it is sunny and HOT!
I am thinking...tonight is the night I implement our family reading plan.
I am thankful...for the health of my boys and my family.
I am wearing...my pj's. It's one of those days.
I am remembering...what a great time we had in Branson, Missouri this weekend.
I am creating...lots of laundry to fold and put away.
I am going...to kick week 3 of the C25K in the dust tonight after it cools down!
I am reading...Adventures in Learning curriculum and All About the ECERS-R.

I am hoping/praying
...for Kayla Dotson and her family. Kayla is 9 years old. I know her through Upward cheerleading. I was her coach for a year. She had heart surgery at 2:00 today with a Berlin heart and is waiting for a heart transplant.I am hearing...my blog music.
On my mind...my new job. YES, I have a job now! I'm so EXCITED! I was hired (unofficially, waiting on the school board to approve in August) last Friday! I am the new Pre-school teacher and will help get the pre-school going. Notice my reading list again. ;o) The Lord has opened the doors!
From the learning rooms...lots of planning on my part and only one month to get ready! I'm excited about the challenge.
Pondering these words: The things that stand between a person and what they want in life are in the will to try it, and the faith to believe it's possible.
From the kitchen...
Monday: Spaghetti and garlic bread
Tuesday: Sub sandwiches, okra, and fresh tomatoes from my sis's garden.
Wednesday: Taco Salad
Thursday: chipotle chicken
Friday: Grilled salmon
Saturday: Hamburgers
Sunday: FFY
Around the house...unpacking and trying to get things back in order after being gone for three weekends this month.
One of my favorite things...hearing my boys say they are glad to be home. Caden even starting kissing the floor. Ha! Oh, and my own bed. I slept so well last night!
A few plans for the rest of the week...

ReplyDeleteHi Rhonda!
ReplyDeleteI always love to read your daybook! Congratulations on your new job! It's so important to have good teachers like you starting our children on their learning journey! You sound so excited, and that's what makes it wonderful.
Vacations are wonderful - but there's no place like home!
