This was Cameron's third year to play and Caden's first. I really could see a big difference in Cameron this year. He has come a long way and is a great player! Caden was so funny to watch. His excitement did not hide when he got the ball. Caden made his first and only basket on his very first game. Both of the boys love it and did not want to see it end. However, I'm glad it did because baseball sign ups are this week. We are a one sport at a time family!
Grandma, Uncle Rodney, Aunt Tara, Devin, and Sharee got to come watch. Dad was at a two day men's conference at our church. Michael was so thoughtful to leave the boys a note before he left early Saturday morning. Even though he explained to the boys why he would not be there the day before. He went the extra mile. Of course this was the only time he missed and he took the boys to every single practice!
I got a note too. :o)
This was one of Cameron's best games. He was the high scorer of the game. I love this game because he hears a whistle and you can just see it on his face....man what did I do? The whistle was from the another game. Cameron's good friend Evan is the one that was guarding him.
Caden...awww...so close!

Oh my goodness. That.Is.SO.Cute.
I loved basketball season too. These were adorable.
I love UPWARD! We did that last year and I loved how they prayed before each game. Neither kid enjoyed basketball, so we didn't do it this year, but I wish we had!!

I've never heard of upward basketball but it sounds awesome and fun too.
So cute. I love the notes from Daddy. How sweet. Enjoyed the videos. Awesome that the baskets are lower too. CUTE
How fun! We only have one activity at a time too. Today, Makenna informed me that she'd also like to start swimming lessons again. Mind you, she's in jazz class, tap class, and also wants to sign up for soccer. Slow down! :)
I love that Rhonda! What a sweet husband you have and what a wonderful dad he is. You are blessed!
XOXO

Awesome that your hubby took the time to write notes to the boys and tell them he wants to become a better dad - it speaks volumes to our kids when we tell them we're not perfect, but we're trying!
Very sweet! I think it is moments like those that really show the kids they are loved!
Hmm, couldn't get the videos to work...will have to try later. Very cute pics though and great notes from dad!
What a wonderful organization they have there, good to know! I may have to look into something similar for ours someday!
God bless!
Those notes are just the sweetest things ever! (Besides the cute boys and cute videos of course.)
What a great experience. I've never heard of this before.
I love the concept of the ball team. I am always amazed at not only the kiddos in some of these leagues but the parents. You would think they are playing in the NBA. I love the sweet note idea.
I can't wait till Trey can go play pee wee ball.
Have a great day!
So sweet! :)
