Olive Garden Inspiration

Last night we had a wonderful dinner, and I tried an Olive Garden Salad Dressing. It was really good and simple to make. Was it just like Olive Garden? No, but close and yummy! I knew it wasn't actually the official dressing when I saw the color of it which was more white. Would I make it again. Yes, I would. I loved it!




For inquiring minds who wanted to know...the recipe:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/3 cup of white vinegar

1 teaspoon vegetable oil

2 tablespoons corn syrup

2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons romano cheese

1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes

1 tablespoon lemon juice



1. Mix all ingredients in a blender until well mixed.

2. If it is a little to tart for your own personal taste please add a little extra sugar.

Shelia @ A Little Dirt Never Hurt shared a salad dressing by Kraft called "Kraft Caesar Vinaigrette with Parmesan. It's AWESOME!!!!" She says it tastes just like Olive Garden! Thanks for sharing Shelia.

    I noticed Jillian on your side bar. I got to see her and Abby yesterday at our school... My son got to go out on the gym floor with some of his basketball team and get worked out by them. It was a lot of fun. Lezlee

    Yummy! Olive Garden salad is my favorite thing ever. Yum! I am going to have to try that!

    I just finished shredding - yay! I think it's been 2 weeks since I've done it. I can't even remember what day I was on. I think I'm going to start all over again!

    Well that does sound pretty good. When I read your blog yesterday, I thought you meant that you bought a bottle of the actual dressing while you were at OG! I've thought about doing that, or giving them as gifts!

    I just bought the bottle from the Olive Garden- hee hee- but not excited to see that there is mayo in it!! YUCK!!!
