Christmas Around the Home

Brrrr, it's cold! Come on in....

This most wonderful time of the year has come and gone. This is by far my favorite time of the year. I enjoy being with family, giving, the food, decorating, and making sure we take time to focus on Jesus.

(Excuse the dark photos. I'm trying to learn to use my camera without a flash. I need lessons!)

The Entryway

I have to thank Marci for letting me in on the free, fresh trimmings from Lowes! She is such a sweetheart. I used it everywhere and love it! I made this swag from one of those small twig brooms.

Again here on the amoire. I love this frugal decorating!

Wow your house looks great. Thanks for the home tour. It looks like you all got a white Christmas as well. We were thrilled to have a snow but we wish the temps would warm up.
I hope you had a great weekend.

Great pictures! Not using a flash is so liberating. What kind of camera do you have?

I finally got a chance to sit down and read your blog post about your dad. Wow, it was amazing. And you are right, the comments were great. I loved the first picture of your dad. A handsome man, and I can see the resemblance in your boys. I love how that works. It is encouraging to know that not only does he remain in your heart, but also a part of your boys. Thank you so much for sharing.
